DEVELOPMENT PROJECT SUMMARY
SM Planning appealed the decision of Westminster Council to refuse the application on the grounds of impact upon the character and appearance of the Portman Estate Conservation Area. Through an analysis of the surrounding context and historic fabric, we set out a robust case that the proposed development would not result in harm to the conservation area. The Inspector subsequently allowed the appeal.
