DEVELOPMENT PROJECT SUMMARY
SM Planning were instructed to obtain consent that the use of the basement/part ground floor as an unrestricted commercial, business and service use (Class E) did not require planning permission. Due to the change of the Use Class Order in 2020, SM Planning were able to successfully demonstrate that the proposed use within Class E did not constitute a material change of use of the building or land. A Lawful Development Certificate was subsequently granted confirming the proposed use was lawful.
